Haiti Partnership - Danita's Children
Danita's Children is a non-profit organization with the intent of rescuing and caring for
orphaned children, meeting their needs spiritually, physically, academically, emotionally.
Founded by Danita Estrella in January 1999, the organization began with a small house
and fourteen children in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. Currently, Danita's Children has 133 orphans
living in two homes. A school provides an education to nearly 550 children and 20,000
meals are fed each month through the feeding program. A church and congregation of 500 Haitians provides a place of spiritual hope and a medical center and hospital for children
are currently under construction.

Mission Haiti - Uniform Drop Progress March 2010
On March 1, 2010, we distributed more than 1,100 school uniforms to Danitas
Children Orphanage, which is one of our on-ground partners in Haiti.
This ongoing campaign that has already supplied thousands of school uniforms in the
region. This video is a brief introduction to Danita's Children and a quick insight into our
first efforts made there.

Mission Haiti - Call To Action Promo

will equip the Haitian people to prosper and begin to break the poverty cycle.
Quick Facts:
Over 80% of all children in Haiti are unable to read or write.
One-third of girls over the age of 6 never go to school.
50% of primary school age children are not enrolled in school.
More than 70% of children attending school are overage for their grade.
